The 6th “World Cuisine Cooking Class” was held today, June 13, featuring traditional Filipino home cooking.
Our instructor was Mariche from the Philippines, who gave clear and detailed explanations in fluent Japanese about both the dishes and Filipino food culture.
For many participants, it was their first time trying Filipino cuisine, and everyone was very interested and eager to learn. The menu included a vegetable-rich soup, sweet sticky rice with a mochi-like texture, and fried bananas for dessert.
All of the dishes were delicious, and the participants thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

第6回「世界の料理教室」は、本日6月13日にフィリピンの家庭料理をテーマに開催しました。
講師はフィリピン出身のマリチェさん。流暢な日本語で、料理やフィリピンの食文化について分かりやすく丁寧に説明してくださいました。
参加者の多くはフィリピン料理が初めてでしたが、皆さん興味津々。野菜たっぷりのスープや、お餅のような食感の甘いご飯、デザートの揚げバナナなど、本場の家庭料理を楽しみました。
どの料理もとても美味しく、参加者の皆さんからも大変好評でした。

初めて参加しましたありがとうございました。先生に褒められて良かったでーす！ちょっと思ったことは先生の最初のご指導は、料理番組みたいに食材を、あらかじめ皮むきしてカットしといてボウルに用意しといた上で、やれば調理の手順についてよりフォーカスできるのではと思ったけどでも今のままでも楽しいし大変だったら大丈夫でーす！
昨日（6月10日）、友好都市イタリア、リエティから寄贈されたリエティ広場のモザイク画修復に向けた準備作業として、はがれてしまったタイルを集めました。これを作ってくださった故ブッチョーニさんを思い出しながら。
次回は6月27日（土）午前9時から、モザイク画にタイルを貼る作業を行います。また、同時進行で、7月5日に開催される「リエティフェア」およびタライ乗り競走に向けて、草刈りや清掃活動も27日に実施します。お時間のある方はぜひご参加ください。皆さまのご協力をよろしくお願いいたします🙇♀️
Yesterday (June 10), as part of the preparations for restoring the mosaic artwork in Rieti Square, we collected the tiles that had come loose and fallen off. Thinking about the late Mr. Renato Buccioni who made this art.
Our next activity will take place on Saturday, June 27, starting at 9:00 a.m., when we will begin reattaching tiles to the mosaic. At the same time, we will also carry out grass-cutting and cleanup activities in preparation for the “Rieti Fair” and the Tub-Riding Race, which will be held on July 5.

2001年にリエティ市から寄贈されたモニュメントなので、最初に高圧洗浄で汚れ落としを行いました。モザイク画に貼られたタイルは一辺が ５ミリ程の小さなものなので、洗浄中にボロボロと落ちてきたのを、皆で広い集めました。この日に拾い集めたタイルは何千個あったでしょうか。拾い集めたタイルをモザイク画に貼りつける作業は、ちょっとしたジグソーパズルになりますね。
