IAIR（伊東国際交流協会）について
IAIRとはIto Association for International Relations の略称です。伊東国際交流協会の英語名として使用しています。
IAIR is an abbreviation for “Ito Association for International Relations”.
IAIRでは伊東市民と外国の人々との友好親善を基調として様々な交流を通じ国際観光温泉文化都市に ふさわしい伊東市のまちづくり、 人づくりに貢献することを目的としています。
At IAIR, our objective is to contribute to the development of Ito City, suitable as an international tourism hot spring cultural city, and to foster community and international goodwill through various exchanges between the citizens of Ito and people from abroad.
当協会は、様々なイベント等を行っておりますが、各事業を、都市交流委員会、事業委員会、広報委員会の３委員会を中心に活動する以下の組織で構成されています。

＊総会 ・・・・・・ 年１回開催
（正副会長会議・・・ 適宜、諸課題のために随時開催）
＊理事会・・・・ 年間 ３〜４回開催 正副会長５人、理事１７人、監事２人
＊委員会・・・・ 事業委員会、都市交流委員会、広報委員会
IAIR では常時会員の申し込みを受け付けています。伊東に来る外国人の方々に日本語を学ぶ機会を提供するほか、日本人と他の国籍や文化の人々との調和のとれた関係を促進するためのさまざまな活動を行っています。 協会の会員になることで、グローバルな視野を広げましょう。
The Ito Association for International Relations (IAIR) accepts membership applications at any time. Aside from providing opportunities for foreigners coming to Ito to learn the Japanese language, the Association undertakes various other activities for the promotion of harmonious relationships between Japanese citizens and people of other nationalities and cultures.
